Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says Qantas cabin crew today voted to strike and take other industrial action as the Flight Attendants Association rejected the terms of a new enterprise agreement.
“There are no specified dates for industrial action, but the worry is Christmas travel will be impacted,” Mr Greenwood said.
“The airline as part of a new agreement wants to extend working shifts from nine and three quarters to 12 hours and up to 14 hours if there are travel disruptions.
“The dispute comes as Qantas says its domestic operation is running at more than 100 per cent of pre-Covid levels.”
