The owner of Spirit of Tasmania TT-line has suspended the transport of livestock, including horses which has sent shockwaves through the racing and breeding industries.
This change follows a court decision where a magistrate found the company guilty of 29 animal cruelty charges when 16 horses died onboard the ferry in 2018.
