It is safe to say the Manningcast has embraced the Halloween spirit.
Giants legend Eli Manning donned a “Chad Powers” disguise during the Monday Night Football’s secondary broadcast of the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns on ESPN 2.
NFL icon Peyton Manning wore a much less frightening referee’s jersey.
The Powers get-up comes from a viral video from a viral video by the Mannings’ Omaha Productions in which Eli went undercover at Penn State, crashing walk-on tryouts as a QB with shaggy blonde hair and a mustache.
Monday night’s costume was less makeup and more mask — and more frightening.
“Yeah, sorry, Peyt… I was just treating with the fam,” Eli told his brother. “I was running a little late, I had to run right in here and get started.”
Peyton, meanwhile, wore a too-tight referee’s uniform purportedly sent to him by Clete Blakeman. The elder Manning gave the NFL official a hard time for his form-fitting jersey in Week 1.
They weren’t the only ones in the Halloween spirit. Browns star Myles Garrett showed up to FirstEnergy Stadium wearing a full-body Vecna costume, portraying the Season 4 villain from Netflix’s “Stranger things.”
