The Sales Dr Founder Ingrid Maynard says she thinks households have been “under pressure” for quite some time.
Ms Maynard’s remarks come as economists predict inflation could rise to 8.5 per cent by December 25, which is higher than the Treasury’s forecast of 7.75 per cent.
“It’s very concerning,” she told Sky News Australia.
Ms Maynard said Australians are “feeling it in their hip pockets” amid the rising cost of living.
