The World Series will have to wait another day to get back underway.

MLB announced Monday night’s scheduled Game 3 at Citizens Bank Park has been postponed because of rain. The series between the Phillies and Astros, which is tied 1-1, will resume Tuesday in Philadelphia. Lance McCullers Jr. will take the ball for Houston and Ranger Suarez will be on hill for the Phillies.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred told reporters the “risk” of not playing a full game with heavier rain expected to come was the key reason for the decision.

The teams last played on Saturday in Houston, a 5-2 Astros win.

They will now play Games 4 and 5 on Wednesday and Thursday in Philadelphia, with a day off slated for Friday. Potential Games 6 and 7 would be Saturday and Sunday in Houston.
